Hai's Chili Crab

Serves 4 Persons


All You Need
1 packet (200g) Hai’s Instant Chilli Crab Paste
1 whole crab approx. 500g (chop in parts)
Few stalks of spring onion (cut into sections)
1 tomato (cut into cubes)
1 egg (beaten)

Some Simples Steps

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a wok, add 1 packet of Hai’s Instant Chilli Crab Paste and stir-fry till fragrant.
  2. Add crab to the mixture and fry for a short while before adding 300ml of water and tomato.
  3. Cover the wok and cook for 10 minutes with medium heat.
  4. Add in egg and spring onion and stir-fry for just a few seconds before servings

How To Serve
The sweet aromatic sauce is best savored with deep-fried mantou (Chinese steamed bun).

Chilli, vegetable oil, tomato paste, shallots, garlic, galangal, lemongrass, ginger, dried shrimp, sugar, rice vinegar, anchovy seasoning powder, salt.
